This mixed-use tower is heading to the development-heavy Downtown Brooklyn area. Revised permits show the once proposed office structure at 540 Fulton Street will now hold a whopping 327 residential units and stand 511 feet tall – just a foot shorter than the former Williamsburg Savings Bank Tower (converted into condos in 2006), which stood as Brooklyn's tallest high-rise building between 1929 and 2009.
